Why ServedWell?

In life, there are moments that pass us by that we never live again. There are people who we encounter in those moments and in those days and throughout our lives. You have options in those moments of your life; the option for you to do good or the option for you to do nothing. The question is, if doing nothing is not doing good, then is doing nothing bad?

ServedWell gives you the opportunity to do something good, to say something nice about another person. I think we can all agree that there is just way too much negative in the world and it could use a lot more positive. Be the solution. It starts with you and it doesn't have to stop. In fact, when you start something good, it doesn't stop with you at all. It trickles out and you just never know where it may go, what it may become or who it may touch.

There are many texts, including several scriptures from the Bible about the power of your words. Ephesians 4:29 says, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." We're not saying that ServedWell can change the world; we are only saying that you can. Not just here, but everywhere.

Imagine with us for a moment saying words that are good and uplifting, words that encourage and praise. Imagine that those words never go away, that they become a part of something much larger. What if your words lived on after you were long gone and their work continued to have power and affect others? They do. It doesn't matter if your words are positive or negative they just keep on working. Inherently, you want to do good, you want to be positive, you want to help others. This is a great place to start. We hope that this will be a good place for you to practice speaking what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. You know, practice makes perfect and strength is built when we go out of our way and do things that are not always the most convenient for us.

Change the world with one good deed at a time.
